Overview
The coolant temperature sensor (CTS) monitors the temperature of the engine’s coolant/antifreeze mixture and relays that information to the engine control unit (ECU).
Based on coolant temperature, the ECU adapts fuel mixture, ignition timing and other engine operating parameters. When the sensor is faulty, you might see poor fuel economy, erratic idling, overheating, or a triggered “Check Engine” light.
Our replacement coolant temperature sensor is engineered to match or exceed OEM specifications, delivering reliable data and helping extend engine life.
